Grant Awarded to Pawster Nashville by Bonnaroo Works Fund

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – January 2, 2023

Bonnaroo Works Fund, a nonprofit who aims to grow its support of nonprofits that are changing the world through social impact and human development, has awarded nearly $8 million in funding to deserving organizations, in order to inspire the community to take action toward a positive and sustainable future.

Pawster Nashville has received a $5,000 grant to build relationships in underrepresented communities, in order to improve the lives of families with pets through community education and direct care for families.

The core values of the Bonnaroo Works Fund (BWF) are Community, Creativity, and Positive Influence. The Fund champions those changing the world through social impact, human development, and community inspiration. Through festival resources, BWF supports and collaborates with nonprofit partners benefiting the arts, education, sustainability, and social impact. With BWF’s unique culture, the organization engages and informs our festival community to make positive contributions in all forms. “Because you Roo, they can do.”

About Pawster

Pawster Nashville provides Crisis Foster Care for dogs and cats: When a pet owner is in crisis, Pawster houses their cat or dog in a loving foster home, until their family is back on their feet and ready to be reunited. Crisis Foster Care keeps pets out of the shelter families together. Pawster believes no family should have to permanently lose their pet due to a temporary crisis.
