If you are unable to care for your pet(s) because of a temporary crisis, there is no reason you should have to lose them. A “crisis” is anything that leaves you temporarily unable to care for your pet(s) for a maximum of 3 months. We aim to reunite every pet with their owner after the foster period.
If you think Crisis Foster Care is the right fit for your situation, please fill out the Intake Form and send 1-2 good photos of your pet(s) to info@pawsternashville.org or text them to 615-434-4912.
PLEASE NOTE: We have a long waitlist and will prioritize people who are working with a service provider. We recommend also registering at Home to Home, where you are able to request someone to temporarily foster your pet. You can register at home-home.org/register/
I need Crisis Foster Care, but I don’t live in Tennessee!
Please check THIS LIST to see if there is a resource in your state. We also recommend calling your local shelter, humane association or SPCA to see if they have a program to temporarily house your pet until you are able to bring them home.
